Lust is like a dark and dead tree. There is no point in fighting with the dead branches. Dig and see if there is any life left in the roots. Attend to the deep-rooted desires that might still be innocent.

If a shopkeeper gives you exactly what you ask for, you will just take it and come home. If he says, "I don't have exactly what you ask for. But I have a substitute." Then a conversation will start between you and him; an attachment will start forming between you and him; you will go to him again and again." Maya (Space-Time) is that shopkeeper. It never gives you exactly what you want.

Your deepest craving is to find the Supreme Power. Nothing the world has to offer can satisfy it. This unsatisfaction can either lead you to Him or to some addiction.

If you become a king, you will be excited for a few days. Then you will become used to it. A new normal will set in. There will be exciting days, depressing days and mostly normal days. The net joy and sorrow will be same as you have now. Understand this illusion and enjoy the present moment.

You get the power to fulfill any desire instantly when you let go of all your desires. But you can’t let go of desires by fighting them. They drop automatically as you grow spiritually and know things as they are.

Society was to decide a common currency so that we could use it to buy things as per ourunique needs. But now our needs are also being decided by society.Society was to decide a common language so that we could use it to talk about our unique feelings. But now we only talk about agendas and fads set by society.

If you like a wild horse, you have to let it be in the wild. If you bring it to your stable, it becomes a domesticated horse. It loses all its essence.You like things and people. You try to make them your own. After too much struggle, when they become your own, they lose their essence. Then you like new things and the endless circle continues...

If your needs (not desires) are within your resources, you are blessed. If a blessed person has no friends, universe does not create situations in which he would need a friend.

Spiritual growth is like physical growth in reverse: First you ask this and that from God like a child. When you grow spiritually, you feel like you are again in the womb... in the womb of the universe. Everything is provided without asking.
