A very large percent of the thoughts and feelings that people attach themselves to are useless to living. The mind tells us otherwise. It will say that this thought or that feeling is crucial to existing. But existing has little to do with living and still less with consciously living.

Detachment is the minds attempt to not care when you actually do care. To not love when you do truly love. Detachment causes suffering.

The search for balance, peace, and harmony is similar to standing in a forest. We look for trees. But can’t see them because we only see the forest. Indeed, it is a strange phenomenon.

To truly live is to accept the suchness and oneness of life in whatever form it unfolds.
