My perspective is different now. I'm stronger than ever. I may have let you control my story for awhile, but those days are over. NEVER AGAIN! My history will not interfere with my destiny. I'm in control of this journey now... Buckle up!

Old religious dogma attempts to convince you that you are on a journey to God, then makes you pay tolls along that roadway.

Being in a relationship with some people is like pushing a boat through sand. I used to have the time and energy for that kind of nonsense, but not anymore. Relationships should be a wonderful journey of exploration and love; not grinding resistance.

You are not on a journey to God; you are on a journey WITH God.

What was my path to success? Well, there were some steps forward, some back, some to the side... maybe it wasn't a path, but more of a dance.

As for the journey of life; at some point you will realize that YOU are the driver and you will drive!

I don’t want to turn back my odometer. I don’t want to forget how far I’ve come. I’m proud of the mileage of my life’s journey. I’m not ashamed of the wear and tear on my body. I’ve come this far and some of the roads weren’t paved. I’m still here... still on my journey. I’m proud of that.
