I don't yell at him near as bad as I used to. We yell at them a little bit, and then we pat them on the butt. We also tell them how good they're doing at times, too, so it's not all negative.

It was a good first day. We'd be pretty stupid to be out here in the rain (today) and let this day go by. I just think it's smart to pick the good days instead of the bad ones.

Oh sure, ... As a coach, you always have a little concern about what possibly could go bad and this, that and the other. But at some point, you say, 'Hey, we've done all we can.'

I'm not going to feel bad because a few plays here and there, they beat us, ... I'm going to enjoy being 1-0.

We're not a great passing team because our quarterback is not a scrambler and our protection is pretty good, not super, so we have to pick our spots, we just can't fire it 35, 40 times or something bad is going to happen,
