Money is a language universally understood. Inability to speak it fluently is a deformity. Moral support, sympathy and oratory are all bark and no bite if not backed with cash. Any claim on wisdom without cash is void.

The young and the elderly possess assets the other need. Youths have vitality and the aged have wisdom. The aged claim being young at heart while the young claim having old head on young shoulders.

Proverbs are not just meant for recalling and proffering but to impart practical wisdom which will impact on our actions.

Sometimes it is wise to be foolish and it takes wisdom to know when and for how long before returning to wisdom.
