One thing I have noticed about my life is that I am always on borrowed time. I have to think quickly on my feet because time doesn’t allow me to rest. I found myself walking with my hands in the pocket of my pants, jacket, or sweatshirt while my head was down, focused on my footsteps. I need to start walking with my head up instead of down. I guess I walk with my head down because I am always heading in the same direction. Maybe if I walked with my head up, I would be able to take a different path. I am going to put that on my to-do list.

All four seasons in my life are always heavier, year after year. Every day of my life is filled with uncertainties. I am free-falling, not knowing where I am going to end up. Although everything is closing in on me, I keep going. Most times, it is hard, but I try to keep a little hope and press on.
