I suspected that after Deal or No Deal became a hit, every company in the world would be gathering up formats and pitching shows to the networks. We felt we had a limited window of opportunity. So rather than wait for a show to be created in Holland or another country and slowly make its way around the world, we wanted to specifically develop shows for the United States.
