We're told that wild animals don't murder one another, only people do. In the animal kingdom there is supposedly an "I won't kill you if you don't kill me" arrangement between members of the same species. Aggression is all bluff and ritual, for nobody wants to get seriously hurt. I was thinking about a wild dog named Wodan tonight. Maybe the Falcon males hadn't meant to kill him. But I just saw murder today for sure. Animals kill their own kind, and they do it on purpose.
