The problem comes when we compare our homeschool to others and when we start to doubt ourselves because of what everyone else is doing. The problem comes from focusing on the outside more than the inside.

I don’t want them to look back and remember mommy being in front of the computer all of the time or in front of the TV. Or filling the house with needless stuff from another shopping excursion. I want them to see that God was the most important thing in my life.

The truth is we can never have enough earthly things to satisfy us because we are not made for this earth. The only true satisfaction comes from above. In a great paradox, the more we have, the less content we seem to be.
