We cannot imagine a life without poetry. Poetry lights the fire in our hearts. Poetry keeps the sparks flying. Poetry makes us happy. Poetry makes us sad. Poetry brings all the colors of the rainbow into our lives. Poetry makes our lives sparkle. Poetry makes our life live. Poetry is life.

We writers write stories on the people we come across in life. We meet many people and each person leaves behind a part of himself or herself with us. And then one day the writer's life becomes a story!

When I read most writers writing on internet ( Instagram in particular) all I ever get to read is about being in love, or falling in love, or surviving a heart-break! I never in my worst nightmare ever thought that life is only that!

We keep drifting in time but do not pause to even think and reflect for a while. Life is truly lived in the every day moments. When we take out time for our passion. It may be drawing and sketching; singing and playing music; traveling and photography; or reading and writing.

As you write your novel, you gradually start thinking like some of your characters in it. And at times the writer may lose himself completely in some character.

My pen keeps on penning words on these blank sheets of paper. Then words dance and create their own magic...

Writing had become a constant partner. She had become my muse. The moments of my madness made me crave her. She was the reason that I never felt alone. She never let me feel lonely. She enticed me in my days. She allured me in my nights. She bewitched me in myriad unknown ways!

Dear Poet/ Writer,Hope you are finding time to reflect ponder, observe life and get inspired to write. Do not worry about getting rejections from magazines, newspapers, and publishers.
