If someone were to ask 'us', "Have you incurred a loss this year?" Then 'we' would answer, "No sir, we have not incurred a loss, the business has incurred a loss!" And when a profit is made, 'we' say, "The business has made a profit." 'We' never have a profit or loss.

When there are earnings, you have to be on a look out of where you will spend your earnings. And when the expenses come your way, you have to be strong that the evidence to repay the debts has come. Income is a resposibility and expense is the means to clear off the responsibility.

Money is not the only way to ‘oblige’ others with; that depends upon the capacity of the giver. You simply have to maintain in your mind the intent of ‘how can I oblige others’; that intent remains within is all you have to see.

The one whose every kind of beggary is gone is given all the rules in his hands. But beggary does not go away, does it? How many kinds of beggary must there be? Beggary for the pride, for the wealth, for the fame, for the sex, for the disciples, for building temples, there is nothing but beggary. How can we be liberated from all our pains (and problems) there?

One should get as much pleasure from spending money as one gets from earning it. But at that time, one says, ‘I spent too much money!

A Gnani (Enlightened one) never wastes his time in counting money; upayog (applied awareness of Self) gets wasted in doing so. Upayog is where the interest is.

The awareness that ‘money will get spent’ must never be kept; whatever gets spent at whatever time is correct. That’s why it has been stated that money should be spent, so that one can become free from greed and it can be given again and again.

For how long does one have obstacles in earning money? As long as he has the desire to earn it. The moment there is disinterest towards money, it will come in abundance.

If we have greed, we will come across a ‘guru’ (a fraudster). If we have greed for earning, then we will encounter a ‘guru’.
