Never compromise the happiness of your child to appease the egos of adults.

A friend of mine told me something that I'll never forget. She said, "continue to text and check up on them if your heart tells you to. Because it's not about them, it's about how you feel. You're the one who wants to share the positivity." Unless you're prohibited to do so, of course.

Remember your home and your people once riches fall upon you.

We measure the real value of our community by its support toward our endeavours. And not by the number of people around us.

Keep them close if they love you for living in your truth. But weigh their intentions if they love you for living in their truth.
