When we wake up in the morning, You are here with us. When we sleep at night, You sing over us.

Your salvation does for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

Give us courage and strength and determination to not be afraid.

May our actions be salve to the broken and freedom to the bound.

Cover us Lord with Your strength.

Press on our spirits HOW to love each other, HOW to serve each other, HOW to comfort each other.

And our hearts cry, “How long? How far? How much more?

May our actions and our love be evidence of who You are.

Stretch our compassion. Teach us how You would respond and adjust our thinking.
