The world is a big place, and you have to have just the right footprint to win the biggest clients. It is a matter of opinion who you think can do the best job of offering a global service, but since 60 percent of multinationals are based in the U.S., AT&T has a clear advantage. All of those companies are probably already AT&T customers, and they are likely to think that as long as they use AT&T domestically, they might as well do the same for their offices in Europe, Asia and the rest of the world.
