Our pursuit of instant gratifications and instant progress has been leading us down the path of mental deterioration and we seem to be completely unaware of it. And if this continues, then soon serenity will become the most expensive commodity in the market - which will be sold to everyone by the pharmaceutical industry in the form of pills and treatments.

Mental health awareness doesn’t mean fighting stress, anxiety, depression and other everyday mental health issues, rather it means consciously modulating the habits that intensify those issues. Once you are in control of your habits, instead of letting your habits control you, you would automatically be in a much better shape, both mentally and physically.

There is no such thing as anxiety, for anxiety is alertness in action - alertness that is produced by your brain to ensure self-preservation. But if you wipe out the self from its very roots and fill every pore of your body and mind with a sense of genuine care for others, then that so-called anxiety will fade away on its own.

Beyond fear there is clarity - beyond weakness there is victory - beyond insecurity there is life.

Future is a figment of your imagination.

Enough is enough - wake up and live already.

Professions of psychiatry, therapy and mindfulness are bound to boom in parallel with unmoderated consumerism, for unmoderated consumerism facilitates self-absorption which in turn breeds anxiety, and the more anxious you are, the more you need expert help to deal with that anxiety.

Humans are lamentably insecure creatures.

Security breeds insecurity, independence breeds discovery.
