Every human being makes mistakes, so why should you be afraid? Go to the One who can get rid of the mistakes and tell him, ‘Sir, these are the kind of mistakes I make’, so he will show you the solution.

The Gnani Purush (the enlightened one) has natural and spontaneous forgiveness (sahaj kshama) even for those worthy of punishment; that forgiveness is naturally there. One does not have to ask for his forgiveness. Where there is natural and spontaneous forgiveness been given, only there people become pure.

In this life, you only need to do this much: You must know that the other person is instrument (nimit, in bringing you the results of your own karmas) so you must remain silent. Do not let the mind spoil in the slightest. If it does, then ask for forgiveness: ‘Dear Instrument! You are simply an instrument. I ask for forgiveness for spoiling my mind.’ You have to do only this much! That is the effort [purusharth]!

One only has the authority (right) of the intent [bhaav-satta] of doing pratikraman and praktykhyan.

When you scold someone, it is your prakruti [your relative self], there is nothing wrong with that. But if you do ‘pratikraman’ for that, then it is a ‘positive’ offence! And if you do not do ‘pratikraman’, then it is a ‘negative’ offence!

The words that we speak, they come forth even when we do not wish to. The prakruti [our relative self] dances and such a storm arises. It is only when countless ‘pratikraman’ is done, will the prakruti stop!

Atikraman’ [aggression through thoughts, speech or action] happens naturally. To do 'pratikraman' is our own spiritual effort (purusharth).

What does our science say, that we have no problems with you stealing, but do pratikraman for it, in this way [by way of Dadashri]. And this is the fruit (consequences) of whatever you are doing; which ‘we’ are disclosing to you.
