It is due to the inspiration from 'vyavasthit' (result of scientific circumstantial evidences) that the pudgal (non-Self complex) becomes the 'doer'. Outwardly, the pudgal appears to be the 'doer', but that is due to the evidence of 'vyavasthit' and in that too, it can happen only if the Soul (Atma) is present.

The moment illusion (bhranti) departs, One Knows things as they are. As illusion departs, it means the ignorance of the Self (agnan) has gone. As ignorance of the Self has gone, it means illusory attachment (maya) has gone!

The Soul is indeed such that the mahavrats (five great vows of truth, non-possessiveness, non-violence, non-stealing, and celibacy as expounded by Lord Mahavir) prevail, but these mahavrats should prevail in conduct externally, only then the Soul is considered as complete. It is known as a mahavrat when not a single worldly intent arises at all. It is a very elevated state!

Upavas' (fasting in the relative sense) means to dwell in One's real form as the Self (Swaroop) , to dwell in the realm of the Self (Swakshetra).

After getting the body to fast, We [as the Self] should remain in Our upayog (applied awareness of the Self). The purpose of fasting is so that We [as the Self] remain in the applied awareness of the Self; fasting is not meant for starving oneself.

The mind performs its function, the intellect performs its function, the ego performs its function; they are all intents of the non-Self, they are not intents of the Self (Atmabhaav). To See and Know the intents of the non-Self is in fact Atmabhaav (the sense as the Self). There are unlimited intents of the non-Self. The world is trapped in the intents of the non-Self indeed.

However many attributes that you can see of yourself at the moment, they are not yours, they are false attributions, they are 'cultured' (developed). 'Your' properties (guna) are of a completely different kind. You have not seen them, you have not known them; You do not Know even a single property.

The swabhaav bhaav (inherent state) of the Self is itself liberation (moksha), and its vishesh bhaav (extra intent of 'I am Chandubhai') is worldly life. Worldly life is not an adverse intent.

The One who attains the awareness that, 'This is not my inherent nature;' He constantly has the awareness of the Self and the non-Self!
