This is larger than any volunteer event we've staffed in the past.

It's rewarding as a community provider to be out there and fulfilling that position. I'm sure when it's done, we'll all be able to look back on it proudly.

We've managed volunteers for events like Special Olympics Iowa and the Iowa Games for 15 years.

There are special considerations to make. During Iowa Games, we only staff during competitions; all athletic venues will be staffed from an hour before and an hour after each competition.

We've found it a true benefit to have Terri here, so the relationship is already built, and there is one less step in the process.
