Bill Griffith is an American comics artist, illustrator, and caricaturist born in Brooklyn on 20 January 1944.

Griffith attended MacArthur High School before going on to study at the Pratt Institute. His career has spanned the roles of comics artist, illustrator, and caricaturist, with work produced in the English language. The Eisner Award for Best Writer/Artist stands among the honors he has received, recognizing his contributions across the visual and narrative demands of the comics form.

Further recognition has followed throughout his career. He received both the Inkpot Award and the Reuben Award, and was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame.
