The crowd was a major factor in this game. Our guys were ready to play this game in an empty gym, but it was an electric atmosphere. It made a difference.

All year long, we've had different guys do it. One of the things that's been real consistent with this team is balance.

You'd certainly have to say it's among the best in school history. To do that in this type of game is exceptional.

Grant has played for four years and came at time when he had the opportunity to play a lot. But you've got to be good, too, and Grant has been exceptional.

He played under control and did an excellent job.

I know that when we play over there our guys get pumped to play because it such an electric scenario. I'm sure that the same is true for them.

That's always been my style. Even when I was an assistant and a head coach in high school my teams ran. I want the guys to have fun and I think they like the fast pace.

It's always tough on the road, but I don't think that we came into this game mentally prepared. Our guys have to realize that this is going to happen and we have to be ready. We were fortunate tonight.

It's certainly a high honor and one that is well deserved. Ryan has had one of the outstanding individual seasons in the West Region, and he will be an excellent representative of our university.
