The guys have to realize that every day we need everyone's effort like we did on Sunday against Duke. We've had too many instances this year where some guys stepped up and the others relied on each other almost too much.

I am proud of the way the team enjoys one another and really pushes each other to get better. I am also pleased with the development of the players and how much they have grown as people and tennis players.

It was a disappointing loss. I know this team will be ready for the NCAA Tournament, which is something we have worked for all year. Duke played a good match today and they deserved to win. The conference is so strong from top to bottom, and it was a grueling event.

It's a tough stretch, but we knew that when we scheduled everything. I think we're fine. Guys still have a lot of energy and good things are coming our way.

The student body and community have been unbelievable in supporting the team and the program. I am also thrilled with the involvement and interest our alumni have taken. I know the players have also appreciated all the support at their matches and around town. People have been so good to the team, and they love playing in front of a great home crowd.

Even though we lost Bobby, a lot of these guys have had a lot of game experience the last two or three years. We're confident they're going to step up and do a good job for us like they did today.

We'll keep mixing it up a little bit. There are certain areas we need to improve in.

We need to be in these situations, and that's why I made the schedule so competitive day after day.

We're a tough team to beat. When we win the doubles point, that really makes a difference for us. That's something we've always emphasized in our program, and there's been no difference in our approach this week.

I think Doug is starting to take it to another level.
