I was a college football fanatic, and I wanted to play, not sit on the sidelines. It’s tough when you know you’re just a project.

That’s where the challenge has been. Balancing football and life. Trying not to replay every play in my head while I’m with my family. Sometimes, I’ve done it well. Other times, I haven’t.

I’m a strategic guy. I’m gonna figure out ways to hurt the defense, but it’s not gonna be about throwing a ball through a wall.

Have character; don’t be a character.

When I’m decisive, I feel I do a good job.

Sometimes I stress too much and don’t have fun. If you’re trying to be perfect, sometimes it backfires on you.

There’s more to me than football. It’s just part of my life.

A great goal for us would be to not have a losing record,

How important a story this is. It's about an athletic resurrection and community's resurrection and the way people embraced Marshall University. Not a lot of people can say they've been a part of that.

I feel comfortable and confident enough to where we can go in and execute the offense the way I'm coached to do,
