Channing Tatum is an American actor, dancer, film producer, film director, model, and voice actor born on April 26, 1980, in Cullman, Alabama.
Tatum attended Tampa Catholic High School and Gaither High School before pursuing studies at Glenville State University. He entered the public eye initially as a model before transitioning to screen work. His film debut came in the 2005 drama Coach Carter, and the following year brought two breakthrough roles: the sports comedy She's the Man and the dance film Step Up, both released in 2006.
