Charlotte Dujardin
On 13 July 1985, Charlotte Susan Jane Dujardin was born in the London Borough of Enfield, beginning a life that would take her into the professional world of equestrian sport.
Dujardin attended Vandyke Upper School before establishing herself as a dressage rider and equestrian. A citizen of the United Kingdom, she has worked across the disciplines of dressage riding and jockeying, two distinct but related threads within the broader fabric of competitive riding.
In recognition of her professional work, Dujardin received two honours from the British Crown: the Officer of the Order of the British Empire and the Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Both awards stand as formal acknowledgements of her career as a dressage rider and equestrian.
