We knew Kyle and Alex were hitting some big shots. We knew they were feeling pretty good. We wanted to get it in to them.

We knew that somewhere down the line playing three games in three days was going to catch up to them.

We needed to pick up our defense. (Forward) Steve Snider and I have been saying this whole trip that defense is going to win this for us.

We didn't want to be negative. Something I've learned is once you get negative with younger players, they get frustrated and things go downhill from there.
