He put on a great show for a freshman.

I believe Garrett can come in and help us right away. He has a good fastball, a solid curve, an above average change-up, and has good command of his pitches. He is very competitive on the mound and should fit in with our team.

I don't think we could have stopped them if not for bringing him in early. I don't think we win the game if we don't bring him in there.

If it ain't out of the park, he's going to catch it. What people don't realize is he's got a real good arm. He's the total package on defense.

He's using the whole field, pulling the ball to right and driving it through holes up the middle and to left.

He's real confident and I'm real confident about him. It's funny how things work out sometimes. He had a poor fall and really poor early spring. But you don't throw it by him anymore.

His breaking ball is working and his arm's not hurting.

Cliff is ready to go. We'll limit his pitches to 85 or 90.

Cliff really pitched a great game today. He has looked like the old Cliff the past two weeks. He has really worked hard and has good command on the mound. We hit the ball well today and I am proud of the team for coming out and finishing the series with the win. We still have a ways to go but we played well this weekend.

If you ever don't see him smiling, something's wrong because the guy's happy every day of his life.
