(Beckman) did a decent job. She didn't get the ball down like she has been doing, and there were a few close calls that didn't go her way. This is a tough venue. It's tough when you haven't been here before.

I'm real proud of the eighth inning after what they did in the sixth. She mowed them down.

In games like that, sometimes you have to get a little lucky or get a break.

It took a long time. The first few years were a struggle. There's been a lot of parent and community support for the team in recent years.

It's frustrating because we didn't get it done offensively. They found a way to win.

It was bang-bang. It was a nice play by McArdle and Wyss to beat her back to the bag. Wyss got to a couple balls up the middle today showing her great range. She's a very, very good defensive player.

It's 50 percent for softball, 50 percent for fun. It allows us to see some quality teams and play in nice weather.

We seem to be headed in the right direction. That was a good ball club we beat. Timely hitting has been a problem, but today we got the hits when we needed them.

We're in a bad rut, there's no doubt about that. This isn't the way we've played offense the last couple years.

We'll have fun at Disney for two days. It's not really about winning and losing when you're down here.
