By Wednesday, we'll pass the largest R-rated movie ever, which was 'Beverly Hills Cop' with $234 million. We're opening 39 IMAX runs this week. The picture looks sensational and I think we'll get our core fans to come back and reload this weekend.

I'm very pleased, ... It looks like the whole weekend was impacted by the ballgames (the World Series began Saturday night). The exits were terrific. We have an older audience and I think we all were affected by the ballgames. We're there for the long run. We've got great exits and great reviews and we'll just keep playing.

I'm very pleased with (the opening) considering what's going on in the world. I believe that certainly part of our potential audience was lost to war coverage. We have a movie that appeals primarily to young males and older males and I think that's the audience that spends more time watching (war) coverage. But, hopefully, we'll recapture that group sometime during the week or maybe next weekend.

T3's' five-day number becomes the largest July Fourth opening of any R rated movie, ... The highest grossing July Fourth movie was 'Terminator 2' (with) a five-day gross of $52 million. We exceeded that by 40 percent (and are) very, very pleased with that opening.

The audience was primarily under 18 (with) slightly more males than females. The film crossed ethnic boundaries very well. Kids loved it and it will be around for a while.

There's always those in the industry making predictions outside our company, but we knew the strength of our movie, ... we're nothing but thrilled.

This is an industry that is content-driven, and when the content is there, the box office responds. There's really nothing broken, it's just a matter of coming back with some good product. Fox is having a good year as we are.
