I've got my head on straight. I'm not looking to just go out and pin everyone. I'm focused on winning another state title. That's all I care about.

It wasn't as easy as it looked. He's really a tough opponent, he kept coming at me, I wasn't expecting him to come at me like that. He did his part and wrestled me tough.

A lot of people say I'm not really that good on my feet. I didn't turn a lot I took him down most of the time, and that shows I'm a well rounded wrestler.

Seeing that match gave me motivation. Ryan was undefeated and a returning state champion. To see him lose it showed me no one's invincible.

I saw him beat Phil Black. That tells you something about him.

I feel like I could've done a lot more. I feel I could've been a four-time state champion, but things didn't go my way freshman year.

I have a lot of family in Ohio and Florida, and they aren't able to make it down. They haven't seen me all four years and they thought coming to the state championship would be a good idea, but now they really get to see me in action without missing work and stuff.

My ability gets overlooked because he's a four-time state champ and I'm a three. I know I worked hard to be on the top of the podium with him. He's probably the best wrestler in New Jersey but I can't count myself out of that category.
