The group has worked extremely hard. To only take 11 girls and finish third was a pretty big achievement for us. That says a lot about their work ethic. They worked well and pulled together as a team.

Again, a great team effort to create the win.

They have done very well. They have been focused and trained hard. This has been a great group. I know that is usually said. But it was fun to work with such a great group of girls.

This group of girls was a joy to coach and I'm sorry the season's over. They had a great attitude. Running isn't always a junior high kid's favorite thing to do but they worked hard and didn't complain.

Defensively I thought we did a great job the whole game.

At the end I told them how proud I was of them. We've been working on the strategy of how to use the clock and work it to your advantage and they did that tonight.

Every game is huge. We're at the point now with three losses that we have to win every game to be assured of a spot in the regional.

We just had too many turnovers and Alma had too many offensive boards. I don't think it was Alma's pressure that bothered us because we've faced a 1-3-1 zone before. We get a run in the second half and then turn it over four straight times. But we played hard and I was proud of their effort.

We've had some good practices over the holidays. We got a lot of turnovers, turned them into transition and got some momentum going our way.
