It was absolutely unbelievable. This was the best-organized games I've ever been a part of, and quite possibly one of the two or three best Games ever. The venues and the people were simply amazing.

Overall, the athletes were really good. We were expecting a tough fight from B.C. and Quebec, and we got it. All our athletes gave their absolute best.

I would suggest that we have excellent sports organizations that have now started to take the Canada Games as a very important part of the training process. But it comes down to the athletes. Nothing more.

What you're supposed to do is not get caught in a slide.

If caught in an avalanche your chances are slim. Even if the guys with you have their act together.
