I've lived with this stuff my entire life.

The storm was one of those once-in-century ones. There was nothing anyone could do to handle that amount of water. The sewers were at capacity.

The Public Works Department is culminating its cleanup, now 90 percent complete. Over the next couple of days, we will continue plowing to remove slush and snow.

Unfortunately, people don't heed the warnings and just go out for a joy ride.

I think we had more streets closed than open for awhile.
