Henry Cejudo
Henry Cejudo is an American mixed martial arts fighter and freestyle wrestler who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Born on February 9, 1987, in South Los Angeles, Cejudo was educated at Maryvale High School, Coronado High School, and later Grand Canyon University. His early grounding in amateur and freestyle wrestling formed the athletic foundation he carried into professional competition.
Cejudo has held titles in two separate UFC weight divisions, having served as both UFC Flyweight Champion and UFC Bantamweight Champion. He is the fourth UFC fighter to hold titles in two different weight classes simultaneously and the second to defend titles in two different weight divisions. His most recent UFC competition took place in the Bantamweight division. These accomplishments have led to his recognition as one of the greatest combat athletes of all time.
Beyond his fighting career, Cejudo received the Great Immigrants Award, an honor acknowledging the contributions of naturalized or immigrant-connected citizens of the United States.
