My heart flutters as I realize I’m enjoying the light. I’m done with the shadows.

As cheesy as it sounds, maybe the good days will make it worth getting through the bad ones.

I make a promise to myself. I will be stronger than my sadness.

I would’ve thought the closer I got to death, the less on edge I’d be, the less afraid I’d be.

But I’m oddly grateful.

Einstein theorized that the faster we move, the slower we perceived time to move. The clocks will still tick away at the same rate regardless – but it’s all about the perception of the observer.

Sure, there are dead stars. But at least before they died, they were stars.

And their death was a supernova – their death demanded attention.

I never understand why teachers think shouting out that someone got a good score on a test will help their social standing.
