The kid (catcher) had him blocked off at the plate and he went to the outside and was able to sneak by there before the catcher got the tag on him.

The kids are playing with a lot of confidence right now. They are hitting the ball at a good time and we are getting good pitching performances.

He came in and was able to locate his pitches and we made the plays behind him. He had pinpoint accuracy.

Their pitchers did a very good job of pitching to us and we didn't have the hits, but when you don't have the hits you have to try find another way to win.

There's certain things you have to do to win a big game. We didn't do the little things. We controlled our own destiny, but let it get away.
