The kids in that group made a pact not to use heroin anymore and all of them, slowly but surely, ended up back on it.

It's sad. Some kids you just have to wash your hands of. There's nothing you can do and the judges sentence them to 93 days in jail for paraphernalia possession. I don't know what else can be done. These kids need to be scared into not doing heroin, but how?

The most the kids seem to get is five packs for $50. They pool their money and one kid with the guts to go to Detroit buys for them all.

It wouldn't be legal, but it would be a real eye opener if someone locked the doors of the high schools and drug tested every kid. I think the results would shock this town.
