Alpha Phi and Kappa Delta were two of the best teams, so our strategy was to stay with them. In addition to knowing they were top teams, we hoped that I could beat them in a sprint.

Series events are so much fun because we train six months for a one-day race and then its over. They are such good baby steps leading up to the race. They help to get you mentally prepared and for the competition.

(It was) so exciting. (It) makes the race even a little more exciting because you know you chased down at least three of the top riders. It makes it so much more exciting for the riders and the fans.

It brings a lot of expectations, you know. You're also a little more confident. I think it almost cancels each other out.

Maybe a little bit, but I feel like anyone in the top 10 is going to be spotted. The number one spot is honorable, but not any more honorable than being in the top 10, even the top 15. Those are all amazing riders.
