This is very frivolous way of looking at rape cases in the country.

There was no religious component to the violence. All the violence was influenced by small groups of boys who were not moved by the blasphemy issue.

Violence against women is a universal problem. Many governments have taken serious steps to deal with it. Pakistan hasn't.

Our view is that if surveillance has happened, it is undemocratic. This is a violation of human rights.
