It helped a lot to have done well in the 1,500, ... I had a lot of confidence.

I never see myself as being versatile enough to be in the running for that, so to be able to get that honor was really nice.

Coming into this meet, I didn't have high expectations. I was just coming in here to have a good time. I did everything I wanted to do, and I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It was beyond what I expected.

We came over right before they closed the pool, so I did some extra stretching. We had other things we could do, so I didn't let it affect me.
