I'm really proud of them. The kids had a lot of fun and everybody enjoyed the barbecue lunch, donated by Gold Rush Golf.

The kids got no help out there. Every hole had a cross wind or a head wind. They were really battling the elements.

The kids had a real good day. It cost me a pizza dinner but it was worth it to beat Summerville.

Everybody came through. It's our first win over Bret Harte since I've been coach here. It was really, really good for the team; a big win for us.

We did really well. Especially with the weather like it was. The wind was blowing, the rain was blowing sideways. The kids did well in those conditions.
