As a leader, you're supposed to be above reproach, and what that means (is) you can't even give the appearance that you're going to do something wrong.

A new auxiliary gym would be nice. There's not enough room for all of the teams to practice.

I started off kind of rusty. But once we got a few runs, it was good. We just made the big plays when we needed to and it helped me out.

The track didn't suit him real well in Canada. He actually trotted a pretty good mile. We got him back to Lexington and everything is good. He's another year mature; it seemed all last summer he was still growing. I think we've got that part behind us now. That age (4) it's just harder to compete, you can't quite explain it.

I think he's back in good shape. He's tough enough, that's for sure. It's only his second start back, so no matter what happens, I think he's going to get stronger and tighter for next week. He seems real healthy.

Piling people in the car is not a good way to conserve.

He was just crushing them by the end of the year. That was about as dominant as I've ever had a horse. Just to win at the Meadowlands is something, and the way he was doing it up there was special.

The pace suited us tonight. We needed it to go up and down the court. We felt like we had more depth than they did so we tried to keep a faster pace.

He tends to get overlooked a little bit. I wish everyone could own one like him. Even when he wasn't healthy, he never lost his desire to do well. He gives it all he's got every time.
