I heard a loud rushing sound and my dogs were barking so I came into my backyard to see millions of gallons of water pouring over the embankment. I was terrified--I thought something was flooding it looked like a river.

It was deafening. With the amount of water that was coming you couldn't hear yourself.

My main concern was my property because it was literally washing away before my eyes.

We knew they were working back then and doing the improvement so I'm sure the city has it in well-capable hands.
