Krysten Ritter is an American actor, model, and writer born in Bloomsburg in 1981, whose career has spanned television, film, stage, and voice work, as well as producing and directing.

Ritter began building her television presence with appearances on the UPN noir mystery series Veronica Mars between 2005 and 2006, followed by a role on the CW comedy drama Gilmore Girls from 2006 to 2007. These earlier credits established her in recurring television work before a more prominent opportunity arrived. Her breakthrough came with the role of Jane Margolis on the AMC drama series Breaking Bad, which she played from 2009 to 2010 and returned to in the spinoff film El Camino in 2019.
