Stop throwing the word friend, sister, brother, “ride-or-die” around arbitrarily. Everyone has not earned those titles. Know the difference between a true friend, acquaintance, co-worker. Be careful who you allow in your circle.

Someday, someone you love will treat you exactly as you've treated them. That expectation should bring you comfort. If not, a change in behavior may be in order.

Everyone has a gift; something extra special that they are really good at. However, finding that unique talent is not always easy. It took me years to figure out what I love to do, but when I did, it changed my life forever.

The common thread between all accomplished, professional women is confidence. They are self-assured. They are not concerned with what someone else is doing because they are focused on the next goal. Don't feel badly that they did not accept you. Work harder. Be better. Make them regret not having you on their team. A "no" should not deplete motivation. It must fuel determination.
