The symphony approached us with the idea. We're very excited about partnering with them. The Central Iowa Symphony is excited about it, too.

We need to get other people involved. We welcome everyone to participate and contribute their money and their ideas.

We will invite the public to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and come listen to the pops concert.

We would like to see the parade re-energized with more entries too.

I feel really good about the direction we're headed.
