God starts with who we’ve become, and then he works his way to how we live.

God has already torn down the biggest obstacle we will ever face, the veil of our sin that separated us from His holy embrace. He will, in the same way, lead you through every challenge you will ever face.

Guess what? Grace is more powerful than consequences. Grace overwhelms consequences. Even with consequences there is love and grace and the mercy of God in Christ. Jesus says to us, “I know you messed up, and I know there are consequences, but I want to walk with you through the consequences. I want to love you through the consequences. And I even want to use the consequences in this whole big story.

That’s when we lean on God and constantly seek his face and heart and thoughts, because there’s no way we can ever swim in the deepest part of the ocean unless we know the one who holds the seas in the palm of his hand.

Forgiveness is when you turn to the Lord in prayer and say, “God, by the grace of Jesus I want you to know I forgive this person. You forgave me. I forgive them. I can’t hold against this person more than what you chose not to hold against me.” You have the power, because of the cross, to say, “I forgive you.

If you have a story of grace, then you have a story of grace to tell.

The gospel is about living in the light of Jesus’ resurrection power every day. It’s about who we trust in every moment with our life and eternity.

Who knows who’s waiting right now for one of us to invite them into God’s family?

Faithfully carry what God has put in your hands right now. This is God’s will.

Let’s face it, stillness is not exactly easy to come by in today’s culture. We are far more likely to be restless, anxious, fearful, fretful, and busy. But God’s invitation is to be still – and to find again, in the calm pause, the assurance that He is, in fact, God. His plans are undeterred, and with or without us, He is going to receive glory from all peoples on the face of the earth.
