The game went back and forth, back and forth. It was a true grind-it-out, physical game, which is what we expected.

They beat Springs at Springs, and Springs was playing for everything.

It was a great game. The girls played their hearts out. Erin Kerr was absolutely sensational; for a freshman especially, but for any player. She was just sensational at point guard.

The better Moulton plays, the better we play. The better our senior leaders play, the better we play.

They pressed us and kind of took us out of our comfort zone.

So you always want to jump on these teams early not let them stay in the game. And we came out and played well early.

And they weren't very big. But it's a win so we can't complain too much.

We knew going in that they had been struggling.

We always talk about this game being a game of runs. Theirs was two points better than ours. No one expected us to be here, especially after our 1-7 start. But these kids have now set the standard for our program.

That will be a good test or us a big conference game at home.
