I'm very oriented to the environment. I think there are a lot of students looking for alternative modes of transportation. There are different ways to build community and bring people together ? rather than the individual lifestyles we all seem to lead.

You talk about the need for change and a president who communicates and gets buy-in. Each of those things are critical to a change in the (search) process.

It would be nice if we knew what was happening. It obviously affects students dramatically who it might be.

There are great social and economic impacts that (officials) don't talk about.

We've disagreed, sometimes passionately. But we're still friends.

It affects our ability to get the best president and retain quality faculty.
