Del Norte has a very good basketball team, and we thought we could take advantage of some things against them and my guys just all stepped up and got the job done.

We are coming into state with some momentum because we just played a very good game against Wray in the regional finals. I know we are going to have to be on top of our game because this is a very balanced tournament with a lot of good teams.

We started the game very well. I don't know that we got timid to let them back in the game. I just think they got their confidence going and they made a run at us. I am just glad that my team got the job done.
