It's going to be restored to the way it was and we plan to continue to offer library service in the community.

There will no fussing here. We'll just be glad to have the book back.

It doesn't matter how long you've had the book. The fine will be forgiven.

I don't know why people aren't using the library frequently. Maybe it's the pull of the new bookstores, maybe it's something else. I'm not sure, but I do know we have computers here -- six for public use in this facility and 14 system-wide -- and our books are free. If you or your child reads a lot, the library is the place to visit.
